COMPANY LEADERSHIP

Ms. Catherine Daskalakis (Facilitator) joined The Mark of Excellence as a facilitator in February of 1997 after fifteen years in the business world. She worked in the financial industry as a Vice President of Financial Analysis and has a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting. Ms. D's title at T.M.O.E. is Chief Financial Officer and her background suits the job perfectly. She had her own card store business in which, engraving and special order baskets were part of the inventory. She has had former experience with engraving as well. With all that, she is also an adjunct lecturer in Business at Kingsborough Community College.

Mr. Joel J. Landy (Facilitator) joined The Mark of Excellence as a facilitator in February of 2006. He came to New Utrecht High School after twenty years in the business world as an entrepreneur and a corporate trainer. Mr. Landy is a graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications Masters Program at New York University and has also earned a Bachelor of Communication Arts degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He has taught technology classes at The New School and La Guardia Community College in addition to delivering technical seminars at computer conferences throughout the northeastern United States. Mr. Landy began his professional career on Madison Avenue, managing one of the first desktop publishing departments at a major New York City advertising agency. He brings his years of professional expertise and enthusiasm for teaching to The Mark of Excellence.
